I love Bluebonnets.
They are the Texas state flower.
When Lydon B Johnson was president, his wife, suggested that they plant wildflower seeds along the highways. They still do it.
I have 11 bluebonnets this year in my front yard. I meant to plant some last year during the fall and forgot, Last year I only had 3 so we have had progress.
It is funny to drive around and see that people have started mowing and general upkeep of their yards but the bluebonnets have been mowed around. It is almost like the bluebonnets are sacred. I love it and they make me smile.
