Boerne and all of Texas has been in a drought for the past several years. Well, it finally decided to rain. And rain, And rain. Boerne had major flooding. Other towns, just north of us were hit much harder with flooding, property damage and loss of life.

Mark canceled church because of the flooding. Many of the ward members would not have been able to get into town. There were areas where the roads were washed out and water running over the road.

Before this week's rain, the river was about 10 feet below the level of the dam.
The bottom floor of this apartment complex flooded. The complex had to be evacuated.
