Rebecca was quite nervous for this performance. She had to sing a solo in front of 3 judges. They then critiqued her and gave her a score. Her score translated to the grade book as a test grade. She drew the 8:20 am solo slot. Who can sing that early? She did awsome. She forgot the words and had to have the pianist start over. She thought she was going to score poorly. Then when she got her score it was a 1. That is the highest possible score. One of the judges wrote her a very nice note. She told Rebecca of her strengths and also where she needed to work. The way it was worded made Rebecca glow.
Then later in the week, the choir had their UIL competition. It was a sight reading competition. The choir as a whole was given the music when they got on the stage. They had 2 minutes to work on it and then had to perform. The choir's goal was all 3's. I don't know the different catagories. They scored 3,2,3. So they did better than they thought they would.

Rebecca does have a pretty great voice. Maybe American Idol? It is good to see her do well.
Keep it up! You seem really dedicated at such a young age.
