We decided to stop at Carlsbad Caverns on our trip to Utah and Idaho. My Dad said that he would like to go with us. So, my Mom and Dad and my niece, Lauren, and my nephew, Landon, joined us in Carlsbad, New Mexico. We spend the night in Carlsbad, NM and then toured the caverns the next morning.

The elevator took us 780ft down into the caves.
We thought it would be cooler than it was.
I had to hold the shutter open longer than normal on my camera because of the lack of light. This caused some interesting photos.

We enjoyed our morning in the caves. We then had BBQ at a local place in Carlsbad and headed on our trip. Mom, Dad, Lauren, and Landon went back to the caves for the afternoon.
