The American Heart Association Heart Walk was this weekend. I did my first 5K. Mark has taken the boys every year since he became part of the board of the American Heart Association. I decided to participate this year also.
The statistics say that 80 people in San Antonio will die each from a stroke. They lined the side of walk way with 80 dummies to show how many people 80 really is.
We took one of the columns of balloons. It filled the car all the way from the drivers seat to the back hatch.
Valero raised close to 50k for heart research in our area.
