Swensen Summer Olympics

Emily was in charge of the activity on the first full day of the reunion.  She did a fabulous job.  She had us divide into 6 teams.  She made sure little kids and adults were pretty evenly distributed.  She gave us all a strip of fabric for our teams color.  Some of us tied it as headbands, others on their arms, and  some like a sweatband.  The teams rotated around to the different stations.  The whole thing was so well organized that it went great.

After we were divided into teams, we all got to design our team flags.

Then we had our Olympic parade.  Since Mark is the oldest boy, he got to hold the torch ( a yard light) and lead the parade.

Each team picked a victim to be covered in shaving cream and Cheetos balls.  There was a time limit and whoever had the most Cheetos stuck to their head, won.

We also had a shot put (water balloons) and a discus throw (frisbee)

We had so much fun.  I need to make more specific notes so that I can copy someday.

Great Job! Emily
