TOADS!

The little boys are facinated with toads. Every evening before it gets to dark, the boys go outside and catch as many toads as they can. They collect them in different containers. I get a report when it is time to come in on how many of the toads peed on them. Then after they go to bed, I go outside and let them all go.

We visited my Mom and Dad's house for Labor Day this year. Mom and Dad have lots of toads at their house. The boys thought it was great.


The first morning we were there, the boys got up at the normal time of 6:30am. I sent them outside so that everyone else could sleep. Mom got up to make waffles. Richard brought in this toad to show Grammy. She screamed. She woke the whole house up. You would think that since she raised 5 boys that a toad would not be creepy any more... We all got a laugh out of it. The boys know I don't want the toads in my house but I guess they didn't think Grammy would mind.
