Huge Project- Check-

Helen, my mother-in-law, came for a visit.  She is a very fun Grandma and the kids and Grandma play games the whole time she is here.  BUT... during the day while the kids are at school, she needs something to do.  She always offers to help me with projects but I never have any.  This time, I did.

She helped me pull out all the papers, photos, and keepsakes that I have been shoving in a pile since the twins were born.  The pile was so big that it became overwhelming and I didn't even want to start organizing it.

We made 6 piles.  Each kid, Mark and I, and photos that needed labeled (I am so glad I have gone digital for photos or there would have been tons more).  We set up a hanging file bin for each of us with a file for each year.  Then we sorted.  It took 1 day to get everything but the photos done.  Then another day to get the photos sorted by year and filed.  I will go back later and sort the photos by activity.  Someday, I will get all this put into scrapbooks.  Until that happens, they will stay neatly filed in boxes.

Now where to put these bins?  so that I can continue to use them and never get a pile like that again.
Thank You, Helen!
