I got a phone call from Curington Elementary that Richard would be getting an award for being Responsible. One child from each classroom was chosen. Richard has been working really hard at being responsible so I was glad for him to get this award.

Robert was quite upset that he didn't get an award. This was the first time that they haven't done the same thing. We explained how it worked and then he was fine. I think it was a shock that he didn't get called up there with Richard. I didn't want the teachers to give Robert an award just because Richard got one. Now is the time to learn that they won't get everything together.
