All the young women have been asked to wear their torch necklace for the whole year. Not only is it to remind the Young Women about their goals and that they are Daughter's of God, it is to prompt questions from others. This has definitely been the case. Rebecca has been asked many, many times about her necklace.
Rebecca has been working hard to get her Young Women Medallion. She received it on her 16th birthday.
She had to complete a 10 hour project in each value and several experiences for each value. There are 8 values. Faith, Divine Nature, Individual Worth Good Works, Integrity, Knowledge, Choice & Accountability, and Virtue.
I am proud of Rebecca for working so hard to get her medallion.

As each value is completed, the young women receive a ribbon in the color that is associated with the value. When complete, the ribbons make a bookmark. Rebecca uses hers in her scriptures.
